The Jacksonville Jaguars couldn't find an answer Sunday against the Detroit Lions. The NFC North teams scored and danced their way through their AFC South opponents, winning 52-6.
The Lions completely shut down Mac Jones and the Jaguars' offense. Jack Campbell and Za'Darius Smith each had a half-sack and Kirby Joseph had an interception.

After Smith beat Jones in the fourth quarter, he and Malcolm Rodriguez each took golf swings, nailing President-elect Donald Trump's dance moves that were seen at multiple sporting events over the weekend.
There was a lot to be happy about for Detroit. The Lions put up 28 points by halftime and 24 points in the second half.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff had 412 passing yards and four touchdown passes in the win. Two of his touchdown passes went to Amon-Ra St. Brown. The wide receiver had 11 catches for 161 yards. Jameson Williams had four catches for 124 yards and one touchdown. The other touchdown pass was caught by Brock Wright.

Detroit totaled 196 rushing yards as a team.
David Montgomery led the team with 75 rushing yards and scored two scores. Jahmil Gibbs had 11 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown. Goff gained 21 rushing yards on four carries.
The Lions won 9-1. In a crowded division, every win counts.
Jacksonville fell to 2-9 on the season. Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence was out with a shoulder injury.

This is the second time this season that Detroit has scored 50 or more points in a game and the fourth time they have scored 31 or more points. They have the best offense in the NFL and are on track to earn the top seed in the NFC playoffs.
