Lions president Rod Wood told WJBK-TV that Sutton was inside the team’s practice facility in Allen Park, Michigan, when the team learned a domestic violence warrant had been issued against the cornerback. Ta.

“We learned about the warrant at the same time everyone else learned about it on social media,” Wood told the station. “I was able to talk to Cam because he was actually in our building. “Due to all the evidence found there, we executed the warrant on the 7th,” spokesman Phil Martello told the outlet. “We couldn’t find him here in Tampa. There’s no doubt he ran away. We hit his license plate reader a few times, but we couldn’t track him here. So we are in the right place now. ”
