“I am well and ready to return to my brothers as soon as possible,” Williams added.

It was not immediately clear which substance Williams tested positive for.

Williams has 17 catches for 363 yards and three touchdowns so far this season, and his speed stretches the field and gives the rest of the offense space.

Williams was previously suspended for six games in 2023 for violating the league's gambling rules by betting on other sports while at the team facility or hotel.

“It hit me out of the blue, and it hit a few other players in the league and a few people on my team out of the blue,” Williams said at the time. “I wasn't aware of this situation, but like I said, it happened and I took it on the chin. As things went, I was ready to move on. I got the results. That was my whole plan to move on from things and just look to better days.”

Jameson ended up missing only three games because his suspension was later shortened when the NFL revised its gambling policies.
