Two years after their breakup, Lisa Bonet has officially filed for divorce from Jason Momoa.
On Monday, Bonet filed a petition to dissolve her marriage to the “Aquaman” star. Documents obtained by Fox News Digital cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for filing the lawsuit. The couple will decide how to divide their assets, and neither party will receive financial support, according to the documents.
The document also states that Bonet and Momoa will have joint custody of their two children, daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa Wolf, 15.

Jason and Lisa first met in 2005 but didn't get married in 2017. Legal documents list the couple's separation date as October 2020, more than a year before they announced their separation to the world.

According to the Associated Press, it will take six months for a Los Angeles judge to grant the divorce.

This was Momoa's first marriage to Bonet. However, Lisa was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz. The couple have a daughter, Zoe Kravitz, who was recently engaged to actor Channing Tatum.

When they announced their breakup in January 2022, Bonet and Momoa released a joint statement on Instagram.
“We have all felt the pressures and changes of this time of transformation…a revolution is unfolding and our families are no exception…we are feeling and growing the tectonic shifts that are taking place.” The statement at the time began.

“We then broke the news to our families that we were separating from our marriage,” they continued. The couple said they decided to make their separation public “not because we thought it was newsworthy, but because we do so with dignity and honesty as we move forward in life.”

The statement read: “The love between us continues and evolves in the way we want to be known and live. We are learning to free each other to be who we want to be. This sacred life.
