Drama seems to be woven into Lisa Rinna’s very being. After her early roles as a drug-addicted singer on “Days of Our Lives” and a scheming character on “Melrose Place,” she really found her niche in reality television. Her popularity surged when fans got a glimpse of her unapologetically honest persona on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and more recently on “Traitors,” where she staged a faux murder, stylishly eliminating a fellow contestant with a cursed brooch.
This phase, or perhaps, her Rinna-ssance, has turned the two-time New York Times best-selling author into a fashion icon, drawing attention from brands like Marc Jacobs and Balenciaga. Rinna notes that her wardrobe, much like her career, is always changing. She currently describes her style as “classic, simple and chic — but with risks.” Her daughters, Amelia Gray, 25, and Delilah Belle, 28, who she shares with her husband Harry Hamlin, are her fashion inspirations. “I copy them,” the 63-year-old admits. “They have the coolest style.”
However, the stylish pair may not quite see their mother in the same light. “They haven’t quite discovered how f–kin’ cool my s–t is,” she shares. “But they will.” It’s a statement that’s likely more than just bravado from the woman known for her signature pout. In the meantime, the rest of us can enjoy Rinna’s interpretation of understated luxury — a fitting description for someone whose presence certainly isn’t quiet.
