The Mets' miraculous season continues, and radio broadcaster Howie Rose brought the heat back on Wednesday night as he narrated two of the season's biggest moments.

After recording the final out of the series, which propelled the Mets to a 4-1 victory over the Phillies and advancing to the National League Championship Series, the beloved Mets anchor uttered his famous catchphrase, “Make it in the record.”

“I swung and missed, strike three!” Please put it in the book! ” Rose shouted on the air. “And here we come to the New York Mets, California! They defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1. They won the National League Division Series in four games for the first time in their 16th year at Citi Field. did.”

Rose went on to describe the celebration in which players ran to second base to mob Francisco Lindor, who hit a game-winning grand slam to put the Mets ahead in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Lindor's explosive Rose call was similarly praised Wednesday night.

“I swung and drove it into the gap in right-center. It's pretty deep. I'm back near the wall!” Rose said during the phone call. “Gone! Gone! Francisco Lindor, he may have outdone himself. He hit a grand slam into right-center field into the Phillies' bullpen! Mets lead 4-1. They were hungry for a big hit all night, and Francisco Lindor provided them with a feast!”
