LIV Golf: Jon Rahm drops colorful expletives amid mid-round drone meltdown in Nashville

Jon Rahm is one of the most passionate professional golfers. He is also one of the many LIV golfers who use foul language.

His latest F-word was uttered during Sunday’s round at the LIV Golf Nashville tournament.

He began his round by finishing the first five holes in 3 under par before standing on the sixth tee at The Grove.

a Loud sound This supposedly distracted the Spaniard, who hit his tee shot, but the ball veered left and went into the water.

Rahm looked back at the drone, lost in thought.

“Every tournament!” Rahm exclaimed. “It’s unbelievable! It’s on the backswing! It’s a drone every time!”

The 2023 Masters champion made a double bogey on the par-4 sixth hole, which dropped him to four strokes behind teammate and leader Tyrrell Hatton of Nashville.

He got one of those strokes back with a birdie on the seventh hole.

This isn’t the first time Rahm has uttered the F-word at the LIV golf tournament; it’s become commonplace to hear him swear.

He and Hatton yelled a four-letter expletive at Augusta National, leading Padraig Harrington to call them out, and the pair were caught on a hot microphone at the Ryder Cup last year.

At LIV Golf Mayakoba in February, Rahm was caught yelling the F-word again.

When Rahm signed with the new tour last December, he was well aware of how LIV tournaments work. He knew what he signed up for, but that didn’t stop him from swearing.

LIV’s motto is “Golf, but louder,” but at what point does it become too much for players?

How many hot mic moments have to happen before something changes, or if anything ever changes at all?
