It was an emotional scene at PMAC in Baton Rouge on Friday. Olivia “Livivy” Dan and fellow senior members of the LSU gymnastics team were awarded as they concluded their college careers.
In a new video posted on her Tiktok page on Saturday, the fifth-year athlete and social media Phenom waved to the crowd as she hugged her loved ones, personnel and warm embraced on the mat as she piloted her with leg braces.
“LSU you were so good to me!” Dan captioned the video.
On the eve of the Senior Night celebration, Dan reveals that she is fighting an injury and will not be able to play the role in a competition with Georgia.
“Hello friends! Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a detached patella fracture, but I can't compete in senior nights,” Dan posted on his Instagram story on Thursday.
“It absolutely breaks my heart to not get the chance to compete in PMAC one last time. Tiger fans, you were so good to me! Thanks to endless support and Geaux Tigers as always! – liv.”
Dan, 22, has not competed since January 24th.

The Tigers visited Auburn on Friday before the SEC Championship began the following week.
The LSU Gymnastics team is considering defending its first national title in the program.

Dan is paving a unique path for himself beyond gymnastics.
The New Jersey native became a sports illustration swimsuit model in 2023 and has partnered with many brands, including Voli.
Dan made waves in her personal life in 2023, when Pirates pitcher Paul Skens confirmed their relationship.
She supported him in several Pirates games last year when he hit the majors.
At 22, Skenes is the NL rookie of the year.
