Here are some favorites of Olivia “Livvy” Dunne.
While cheering for her beloved Tigers at the Omaha Men’s College World Series on Saturday, this swimsuit cover model and LSU gymnast showed her spirit by wearing a custom jersey. The jersey was a nod to both her alma mater and her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, a rookie pitcher and fellow LSU alum.
Dunne, who has over 13 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, shared on her Instagram Stories a split jersey featuring the Tigers on the front, while the back displayed Skenes’ name.
The 22-year-old New Jersey native captioned a selfie that highlighted Skenes’s jersey number, which is 30, recognizing his role as a star pitcher.
The relationship between Dunne and Skenes, who is 23, became public in 2023. That same year, Skenes and the Tigers clinched the College World Series title, defeating Arkansas 4-1 at Charles Schwab Field.
LSU is set to play UCLA on Monday night after winning in the winner’s bracket.
Dunne expressed her excitement on another Instagram story, saying, “I’m a very happy Geaux Tigers.”
This has been a memorable spring for Dunne, as she was named one of the four cover stars of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition alongside Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, actress Salma Hayek, and entrepreneur Lauren Chang.
It’s impressive that just two years following her debut in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, she made the cover, despite enduring a knee injury. She mentioned in an Instagram video that, “The funny fact is, I was filming with a broken kneecap, so posing for the cover was kind of tough, but it was worth it.”
Earlier this year, Dunne ended her gymnastics career after graduating in April, having won a national championship at LSU last year. She shared a heartfelt video saying, “You’ll always be my first love.”
While Dunne pursues new dreams, she continues to support Skenes in his journey as he focuses on his MLB career.
Skenes, who was the Pirates’ first pick in 2023, made his MLB debut in May 2024, striking out seven in his first game. He currently holds an ERA of 1.78 in 15 games, although the Pirates are struggling at the bottom of the NL Central with a record of 29-43.
The Skenes are scheduled to wrap up their four-game series against the Cubs on Sunday.
