Olivia Dunn Overhears Bathroom Conversation
Olivia Dunn, the NCAA gymnastics champion, recently shared an incident that caught her off guard. While on a date with her boyfriend, Paul Skens, who plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates, she found herself in a bathroom where two women were discussing her.
Dunn recounted that as she was attending a dinner, she overheard these young women chatting about her in a lively way, saying things like, “Did you see Livvy Dunn here? What’s she doing here?” Trying to catch more of the conversation, she leaned in closer. To her surprise, one of the women commented, “To be honest, I thought she would be more carved in real life.”
That caught her off guard. “What?! I didn’t realize ‘cut-up’ was something people said in everyday conversation,” she remarked, revealing that she was taken aback enough to joke about it and how she was perceived by others.
After realizing they were talking about her, Dunn quickly left the bathroom stall, noticing that the two women seemed embarrassed. “I think I heard silence,” she added with a chuckle, sharing how they later asked her for a picture, which she agreed to.
Interestingly, Dunn noted the recent rise of the term “imped” among young crowds, which refers to someone not considered attractive. It’s just amusing, she thought. The dinner was nice, and she’s relieved she doesn’t look like how they expected.
Dan has become quite the social media presence, amassing over 8 million followers on TikTok and an additional 5.4 million on Instagram. Her popularity soared during her time with the LSU Tigers, where she helped secure a national championship. She has even graced the pages of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition.
Earlier this year, she was spotted at various baseball games, cheering for her boyfriend and enjoying the MLB scene.
