When Livvy Dunne finally said goodbye to the sport 20 years later, she couldn’t contain her tears as she watched the video homage to her gymnastics career.
LSU’s star and social media sense officially ended his college career when LSU finished third in the NCAA semifinals last Thursday and not repeated as a national champion.
Dan posted a video to her Instagram account. I was shed tears from the footage of her viewing and the conclusion.
“Time flies when you’re having fun,” she said.
“When something seems to be running away from you, that’s exactly what the last 20 years of this sport felt,” Dan said as he spoke the video… All the risks are worth the reward. ”
Dan, 22, from Hillsdale, New Jersey, retired from gymnastics officials after the competition and looked back on her career in an emotional farewell video posted on social media accounts on Monday.
“You’ll always be my first love,” Dan said in the video. She showed she competed and practiced at various stages of her career.
“Time has passed and I will cherish every memory for the rest of my life,” she said.
Dan, an illustrated swimsuit model for sports, also thanked her parents and coaches throughout her career.
After joining the Tigers, she became prominent through both her gymnastics skills and social media proficiency.
According to ON3, she has 13 million followers between Tiktok and Instagram and has a $4.1 million valuation.
That includes dealings with Crocs, American Eagle Outfitters, ESPN, Grubhub and more.
Dunn, who is dating Pirates Ace and fellow former LSU star Paul Skens, averaged 9.857 on the floor in 2024 to help the Tigers win their first National Championship.
“Thank you for everything, gymnastics,” she said. “You were very kind to me.”
