Liz Cheney responds to Trump calling her a ‘crying lunatic’ during speech on Inauguration Day

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) responded to insults hurled at her by President Donald Trump during her Inauguration Day speech.

President Trump addressed supporters in Emancipation Hall at the Capitol and spoke about the pardon that former President Joe Biden granted Cheney shortly before leaving office.

“Lies and people who lie do not get better with age.”

“Why are we helping some of these people? Why are we supporting Liz Cheney? She's the worst, a crying lunatic,” he said.
