Loud-mouthed Democrat mayor crashes and burns in primary after scandal-ridden term

Perhaps the most controversial mayor of America, Tiffany Henyard will soon be away after voters in Dalton, Illinois, overwhelmingly support her opponent this week in the Democratic primary.

Henyard, 41, first began his tenure in 2021 as mayor of Dalton, a Chicago suburb. Jason HouseDalton's trustee and former Henard allies, slept well over Henard in the Democratic primary on Tuesday, winning 88% of Enard's votes for just 12%.

Total live votes It appears to be even more biased. Enyard managed to win just 536 votes from 4,446 votes.

“God must make another plan.”

“We have faced four years of intimidation, four years of failure, and tonight is a new day for the Dalton community,” House said Tuesday night. WGN.

In the past, Henard clearly dodged the spotlight and chose not to attend the election party. However, she spoke to WGN over the phone and essentially admitted defeat.

“People spoke,” she said. “God must make another plan.”

Henard's troubling constituents did not bother to hide their joy at the time of her loss.

“The evil witch of the West is dead! That's over. Now I have to go another eight weeks to bury her.” New York Post.

Yet another Dalton resident made a similar mention to “The Wizard of Oz” regarding Enard. “I praise God. That's all I have to say. Din, Don, the witch is gone!” Valeria Stubbs, 66.

“If I can turn my hands over right now, and next month, I'm 67 years old, definitely going to do that.”

The family that dismissed Enyard as “one fraudulent individual” in Dalton will now face independent candidate Kasundra Hopson Jordan in the April 1 general election.

“Dalton is proud and I'm pleased that he's ready to change the story,” House insisted.

'Y'all forgets I am the leader… mayor – not a councillor who does nothing. They run only their mouths. ”

Henniard, who began his political career as a councillor more than a decade ago and now oversees the nearby Thornton Township, headed to the Mayor Dalton office on a promise of transparency.

On all accounts, she has not fulfilled that promise. Instead, her tenure has been plagued by accusations of gorgeous spending and other misconduct, budget cuts, FBI investigations and even full-scale brawls at public meetings.

Despite allegations against her, Enyard remained stubborn and refused to change courses repeatedly. When she returned to the corner, she slammed critics, accusing them of pitching misinformation and betraying their race.

“Y'all should be ashamed of himself,” she cried at a meeting last February. “Y'all is black.”

“Yeah, forget that I am the leader,” she continued. “They want to hear from the mayor. You haven't learned that yet. The mayor is not a councillor who does nothing. They just run their mouths.”

Before the election results began on Tuesday, she predicted a vineyard of confidence. “There's no competition,” she said at that point. After she lost, she appears to blame others and tells WGN that she “tell the trustee faster” if she can go back in time and do something different.

Her days at the helm of Thornton Township are similarly numbered. In December, Heniyard lost a legal challenge to the Democratic nomination and subsequent Caucus outcomes. However, she pledged to run as a potential writer in the April 1 election.

Despite the brutal message from both Thornton Township and Dalton voters, Henard remains optimistic about her political future. “Looking out,” she said Tuesday.
