Louis CK was recently seen sharing a kiss with Mimi O’Donnell, the longtime partner of the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The 58-year-old comedian was candidly photographed in New York City, caught in a moment of affection with O’Donnell. One image shows him kissing her while gently holding her head; in another, he’s caressing her face and gazing into her eyes.
For this outing, CK opted for a laid-back look with a black peacoat, hoodie, jeans, and a baseball hat. O’Donnell kept it casual as well, sporting a long-sleeved blue jacket, cuffed jeans, and boots.
As they walked with their dog, both appeared to be smiling and enjoying each other’s company.
A representative for CK has not yet responded to requests for comments regarding this outing.
Mimi O’Donnell and Philip Seymour Hoffman were together for 15 years and shared three children: Cooper, 22, Talulah, 19, and Willa, 17. Hoffman tragically passed away in 2014 at 46, due to a heroin overdose.
Since then, O’Donnell hasn’t publicly dated anyone. In a reflection on Hoffman’s death from a 2018 essay in Vogue, she acknowledged the ongoing impact of his loss.
In her essay, she expressed the lasting effect of Hoffman’s passing on her and their children. “It’s been almost four years since Phil passed away, and my children and I are still in a place where we feel that fact every day,” she shared. “We talk about him all the time, but only now can we talk about him without crying right away.” She emphasized the importance of keeping his memory alive by sharing both the ups and downs of their experiences together.
Meanwhile, CK became a prominent figure in the headlines back in 2017 after several women accused him of sexual misconduct, allegations he did acknowledge.
In a statement released through his agent at the time, CK remarked, “These stories are true. At the time, I told myself that what I did was okay, and it was also true because I had never shown a woman my sex without her asking.” He further reflected, “But what I learned later, too late, is that when you have power over other people, it doesn’t matter to ask them to look at your dk.”
Despite the backlash, CK has been working to rebuild his career and is currently on the “Ridiculous” comedy tour, which is expected to run through 2016.
Previously, he was married to Alix Bailey from 1995 to 2008, and they share two daughters.
