The staff of the Shriboport Aquarium has recently announced the unusual birth of a swell shark in a tank with only two female sharks.
The puppy was born on January 3, named “Yoko” from the word “ONYOKO”, which means “shark”.
About eight months ago, it was HATCH from an egg found by the aquarium breeding team.
Aquarium officials stated that two women in Yoko and tanks had not contacted men's swell sharks for more than three years.
According to the Pacific Aquarium, mathematics is not added for the swelling of the newborns, given that the swollen shark pregnancy period is 9 to 12 months.
Rather, it means that one of the two phenomena has occurred.
One is accompanied by a container formation, which is a rare form of reproduction without the need for males, and the other is delayed in fertilization, and fertilization occurs after sharks mixed.
“This situation is incredible and shows this kind of resilience,” said Greg Barrick, a live animal curator in the Shrevo Port Aquarium. “I am very excited in the coming months to see if this is a case of parten formation and whether fertilization has been delayed. The aquarium determines what happened when Yoko happened in enough size in a blood lottery, so that the breeding team could analyze the puppy DNA.
They pointed out that sharks were born through perception or delayed fertilization, which tended to “face serious tasks” and tend to live a shorter life.
For this reason, Yoko is being monitored carefully and keeps the public away from the public until it is enough to move to a larger tank.
Unlike other young lives, swollen sharks usually release fertilized eggs into water.
Egg cases, sometimes called “mermaid wallets,” adhere to the characteristics of rocks and algae, and the shark embryos grow from eggs, and then hatch from eggs.
