“Love Is Blind” couple Ashley Adiongsah and Tyler Francis suffered a major setback in their relationship during season seven.
In the final minutes of Episode 9, which aired on Netflix on Wednesday, Francis revealed to his bride that he was the sperm donor for their three children. It is said that he decided not to reveal this fact during the courtship within Thad.
“I left. I needed to go away and be alone and collect my thoughts,” Adionsah said in the episode after Francis' shocking revelation.
The couple seemed to have one of the strongest matches of the season, but Adionsel began to express doubts after learning about his fiancée's secret.
“I don't understand why it seems like our superpower is no longer our superpower,” she said.
“I don't understand why they would drop such a bombshell two weeks before the wedding when I felt like we had such great communication.”
The 32-year-old marketing director then admitted that he was replaying “every conversation” he had with Francis to understand why he didn't reveal he was a sperm donor sooner.
“We're talking about merging unions and combining lives. Here's what you need to know before saying yes” [to marry you]” Adiongsah said.
Francis admitted that losing Adionsel's trust was “the last thing he wanted”, especially as the wedding day approached.
The 34-year-old account manager apologized, but Ms Adionsar remained anxious about her impending marriage, as they had previously discussed having children.
“How did you talk about that? Can't you think about it without taking into account your past at all?” she said. “For example, we talked about kids every day. They're not your kids, but they're your kids.”
Adioncel later accused Francis of not giving her the “full story” after she revealed that her children included “two girls and a boy.”
“You didn't show me anything. I was like, 'Here are the documents that show I'm not involved.' I need to know everything,” she said.
Adionsel admitted that it was “hard not to question everything” because he couldn't be completely honest at first.
Frances said her feelings were “valid” and that she was just asking for “a chance,” not “forgiveness.”
However, Adionsel still had doubts about the relationship. “Love, what do we have? Is love enough? For love or marriage? I don't know,” she said.
The final episode of “Love Is Blind” Season 7, which was partially filmed at the luxury Mexican resort of Viceroy Los Cabos, will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 16th.
