The LSU Tigers came out victorious on Saturday, defeating Nicholls State University, 44-21.
Tigers coach Brian Kelly didn't seem too pleased with the win. Louisiana State kicker Damien Ramos' 39-yard field goal was blocked but nearly went through the goal post.

Kelly was seen yelling at Ramos and even grabbing his jersey at one point, during the ESPN broadcast, after LSU led 23-14 at halftime.
It was Ramos' only field goal attempt the entire game, with the third-year player making 2 of 3 attempts through two games.
Quinn Ewers played well, throwing three touchdown passes as Texas beat Michigan.
Offensively, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeyer threw six touchdown passes in an attempt to bounce back from last week's loss to USC. Nussmeyer completed an 11-play, 72-yard drive to extend the lead to 30-21.
Nussmeyer added 302 yards passing, and his six touchdown passes tied him with Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow for the most in LSU history.
“I'm happy to win a football game, but there are certainly a lot of areas we need to improve on,” Kelly said after the game.

“(We) were tired and didn't play our best. It was a short week for us and it showed. (We) didn't have the energy, the drive and the fitness that we had against USC.”
