LSU secures a place in the College World Series final following Arkansas's error in the game

The thrilling game between LSU and Arkansas in the College World Series ended with the Tigers advancing to the Championship Series for the second year in a row.

The Razorbacks seemed poised for victory, leading 5-3 in the ninth inning, but a missed catch with two outs allowed LSU to keep their hopes alive, eventually securing a win.

Louis Hernandez connected with a hit, and it appeared that Charles D’Abaran was ready to snag it in left field.

However, D’Abaran misjudged the ball, causing him to scramble as it changed direction.

The crowd in Omaha erupted as Ethan Frey and Stephen Millum worked together to rally, tying the game in the fifth inning.

The tension escalated. Already having hit a solo home run earlier in the game, Jared Jones stepped up again, this time hitting a ball that eluded Arkansas’s two-handed pitcher, Cam Cozil, and graced the outfield, bringing runs to the scoreboard.

Arkansas had previously closed out with a slim 1-0 lead in the sixth and even extended it to 3-2 in the eighth inning.

After his standout moment, Jones rushed to greet his parents with a heartfelt hug.

This victory sets the stage for a Championship Series clash between LSU and Coastal Carolina.
