Donsic, 25, has sent Lakers star Anthony Davis to Dallas, arguably the biggest NBA trade centre of all time.

Along with Doncic, Mavericks traded Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris for Los Angeles for the first round of 2029 on a three-team contract with Davis, Max Christie and The Jazz.

Utah received the 2025 second round pick, Jalen Hood-Schifino, via the Clippers and Mavericks' 2025 second round pick.

Goltes' post follows a dominant performance by Doncic against his former Mavericks team on Tuesday.

The five-time NBA All-Star scored 19 points and recorded 15 rebounds and 12 assists in the Lakers 107-99 victory at Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers currently rank fifth in the Western Conference with the 35-21 mark.

They will host the Timberwolves (32-27) on Thursday night.
