In January 2022, Terkeurst announced that she had filed for divorce from Art in 2021, citing infidelity. She initially wanted to divorce her husband in 2017 citing his infidelity and addiction, but after she repaired her marital relationship a year later, she took her vows again. Ta.

“God is kind. God is faithful. When life begs me to believe differently, I remind myself that God is not finished yet. There is more to come. Let’s take a look,” she wrote.
“I've had some really tough times in the past and I still feel the tingling pain, but I'm so grateful that I didn't get stuck trying to make things happen my way and in my own time. . Stubborn as I am, I thought I knew what was best. Whenever God told me 'no' it was by God's grace,” Terkeurst continued.
