Mac Jones and Sophie Scott are celebrating their fifth anniversary together.
Long-time couple They celebrated their fifth anniversary on TuesdayScott, 25, and the Jaguars quarterback, 26, had an anniversary date night on Saturday.
In a photo shared by Scott on his Instagram Story on Sunday, the couple, who have been dating since 2019, were seen looking cozy before heading out to dinner.
The table set for Scott and Jones was adorned with “Happy Anniversary” confetti and rose petals.
Jones, a first-round draft pick in 2021, spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Patriots, who selected him 15th overall in the draft.
Despite a Pro Bowl-caliber rookie season, Jones struggled the next two years and was benched last season in place of Bailey Zappe.
In April, new head coach Jerrod Mayo and the Patriots drafted Drake Maye with the third overall pick to replace Jones, who was traded to Jacksonville in March.
He is the backup to Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the same draft as Jones.
Jones has yet to take the field this season, but that hasn't stopped his name from being linked to trade rumors.
Following the Sept. 12 concussion suffered by Tua Tagovailoa, rumors have swirled about whether Miami will acquire a veteran player.
With Miami pursuing Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley, former Patriots guard Devin McCourty recently suggested Jones could be heading to the Dolphins.
“Miami has reached out to him and he could be traded to Miami. He's been ruled out of Miami, San Francisco, a lot of teams he could potentially go to,” McCourty said on PFT Live. NBC Sports Boston reports“I'm sure Mac wants to go through the (2021) draft again.”
The Dolphins (1-1) then placed Tagovailoa on injured reserve and Thompson, a 2022 seventh-round draft pick, is expected to start Sunday against the Seahawks (2-0) in Seattle.
Miami officials maintain there is no set timetable for Tagovailoa's return.
The Jaguars, looking for their first win of the season, will visit the Bills (2-0) on Monday Night Football.
