Macklemore tells Seattle crowd ‘f— America’ at concert donating to UNRWA

“F— America,” rapper Macklemore told the crowd at a Seattle concert, according to a video of his recent “Palestine Will Live Forever” performance shared on X.

“Let me be clear: I'm not stopping. I'm not stopping,” Macklemore said, apparently referring to the crowd chants.

“Yeah, fuck America,” the Grammy-winning artist said, as the crowd cheered. The video was shared on X by journalist Cam Higbee.

Macklemore, a 41-year-old rapper born Benjamin Hammond Haggerty in Kent, Washington, was promoting the “Palestine Will Live Forever Festival” on his Facebook page.

He said proceeds from the event, which will be held at Seward Park Amphitheatre, will be donated to various groups known for being controversial. united nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Israeli officials have declared that UNRWA has deep ties to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and the UN itself announced in August that it would fire nine UNRWA staff members for their possible involvement in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

Fox News Digital reached out to Macklemore's representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Macklemore released an anti-Israel song in May titled “Hind's Hall,” named after a building at Columbia University that students occupied and renamed in honor of a 6-year-old Palestinian girl killed in the Israel-Gaza war. The song praises the anti-Israel encampments and protests that have taken place on college campuses across the country and criticizes President Biden, police and the music industry.

The rapper released a second version of the song this month in which he slammed Vice President Kamala Harris, who became the Democratic presidential nominee when Biden dropped out of the race in July.

Macklemore appeared to be threatening that Harris' support for Israel would cost her support in Michigan, a battleground state with large Arab and Muslim communities in Dearborn.

“Hey Kamala, I don't know if you're listening, but stop sending us money and weapons or we're not going to win Michigan. We're irresponsible. We're never gonna change our stance just because the whole world is Palestinian,” the song goes.

In the music video shared by X, footage of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mich.) is shown while the lyrics are played, and the song also includes the anti-Semitic slogan “From the river to the sea,” which calls for the removal of Israel.

Macklemore, who has an estimated net worth of $25 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, declares in the second version of the song that “capitalism is killing us, we can't afford it,” and sings that “begging the Zionists will never give us freedom.”

Macklemore has become increasingly involved in Middle East conflicts. Last month, he canceled a planned October concert in Dubai, citing the United Arab Emirates' involvement in the “ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis” after the country reportedly supported paramilitary groups fighting government forces in Sudan, according to the Associated Press.

“People have continued to ask me to cancel the show in solidarity with the people of Sudan and to boycott doing business in the UAE due to their role in the ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis,” Macklemore said in an Instagram post at the time.
