A New York woman was reportedly dying on Sunday after being attacked and punched multiple times by an overprotective cow while caring for her newborn calf.
WWNY-TV in Carthage, New York reported that the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident involving employees and cows at Frack Farms in Lisbon.
An initial investigation revealed that 28-year-old Flor Lopez was caring for a newborn calf when a cow attacked her nearby.
Authorities say children were attacked and trampled by an aggressive female moose at a local park.

Investigators said the bull charged at Lopez and struck her several times.
Lopez was rushed to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, New York, where he reportedly later died.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine Lopez’s exact cause of death.

Lisbon is located about 50 miles northeast of Syracuse, near the St. Lawrence River, which separates the United States from Canada.
