Madonna Promises Reward for ‘Lost’ Vintage Outfits After Coachella Show

Madonna’s Missing Vintage Clothing After Coachella

Madonna recently reported that several vintage clothing pieces went missing following her performance at Coachella. She has since offered a reward for their return.

During her performance on April 17 with Sabrina Carpenter, the iconic singer wore a number of vintage items. However, on April 20, she shared on her Instagram Story with her 20 million followers that her experience was overshadowed by the realization that her personal items were no longer with her. According to TMZ, police believe this was likely a random incident.

“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments,” Madonna expressed in her post.

She emphasized the sentimental value, stating, “These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history.”

The Indio Police Department has indicated that they do not believe the items were stolen, as reported by TMZ.

Madonna also mentioned that other archival items from the same time period have gone missing and hopes that “some kind soul” will find them and connect with her team.

“I’m offering a reward for their safe return,” she announced.

Investigating officers informed TMZ that they see no indication that the music icon was specifically targeted.

On April 18, at approximately 7:32 p.m., a missing property report was filed by Madonna’s representative. The missing items reportedly included clothes and jewelry, which were last seen on a golf cart at the Empire Polo Grounds shortly after 1:30 a.m. during the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The police noted that their initial investigation suggests the bags containing the items might have fallen off the golf cart as staff was transporting them to load onto a bus.

Upon reaching the hotel shortly after, the staff noticed the bags were missing. A police spokesperson stated that there was no evidence of intentional theft and encouraged anyone with information to reach out.

On another note, Madonna is set to release her upcoming album, “Confessions II,” in July.
