Magic Johnson ’embarrassed’ about Lakers’ brutal 41-point loss to Heat

Many Lakers fans were probably upset after Wednesday's loss to the Heat.

Critically unlucky was Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who said after the 134-93 loss to the Heat that he was “embarrassed” for his team.

“It's embarrassing for the Lakers. They trailed the Miami Heat by 32 points at the end of the third quarter, 105-72.” Johnson wrote about X during the game..

The loss was the Lakers' sixth in their last eight games, having been trailed by a combined 70 points in their last two games.

Los Angeles (12-10) allowed 24 3-pointers, the third-most allowed by the Lakers in franchise history, but Anthony Davis was just a dismal 3-of-14 shooting. He was only able to score 8 points.

As a team, the Lakers shot 43 percent from the field and 22.7 percent from 3-point range.
