Comedian and TV personality Bill Maher said on Friday evening Former President Trump said he was confident he would lose to Vice President Harris in November.
“I'm not even worried” about the election with less than six weeks left, he said on a panel discussion on “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
When one of his guests, author Fran Libowitz, pressed him about his prediction, he repeated, “Are you even worried?”
“No, not at all,” Maher replied, adding, “He's definitely going to lose. You just feel it.”
The comedian reminded his guests that he had already predicted weeks ago that Trump was unlikely to return to the White House. Maher said in a similar segment on his show earlier this month that the former president “is going to lose.”
At the time, such predictions came as he had previously been labeled a “Trump alarmist” and believed the former president still had a chance even after the “Access Hollywood” tape was released. He said that he believed that he had the credibility to make a decision. President Trump bragged about groping and kissing women without their consent.
President Trump recently slammed Maher for consistently featuring him as a talking point on his show, calling the host “sloppy and tired.”
President Trump: “HBO's increasingly boring show has Bill Maher questioning his ratings and really having a hard time dealing with Trump Derangement Syndrome'' I wrote A week ago on his Truth Social platform. “He's disorganized, sloppy, tired, and every conversation he has with B-list or C-list guests seems to start with me or come back to me.”
Harris currently holds a 4.2 point lead over the former president (50% to 45.8%), according to Hill/Decision Desk Headquarters' polling index. But recent polls in key battleground states where the outcome of the election is likely to be determined show candidates from each party to be virtually evenly matched.
