With less than two weeks until Election Day, comedian and television personality Bill Maher on Friday called on Democrats to stop waiting for an “October surprise.”
“Democrats need to stop thinking that an October surprise can save Trump a second term,” he said Friday on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” referring to events that could affect the election. There is,” he said.

Maher also referenced the charges against hip-hop artist Sean Combs, in which the former president bragged about sexually grabbing women without their consent and “parties at Diddy's house where they just danced.” He also referenced 2016's infamous “Access Hollywood” video. .
The comedian listed several other “surprises” that shocked voters, claiming former President Trump could do many things that “just don't work.”
“Trump's superpower as a candidate is that he's been so consistently and ubiquitously awful for so long that we don't see it anymore,” he said.
Maher has consistently criticized President Trump's rhetoric and attacks on political opponents, including Harris. He also claimed that the former president would be defeated in November.
But President Trump fired back, calling the TV host “low ratings.”
