Maia Bouchier defied injury to score 91 as England women defeated New Zealand to win the series by 47 runs in the fourth T20 International in Wellington.
Bouchier scored his second successive half-century of 91 off 56 balls to take England to 177 for 3, with Charlie Dean taking four wickets as New Zealand were restricted to 130 for 7.
England lost Danny Wyatt, who returned to the team early after playing in the Women’s IPL, but Alice Capsey and Boussier were hampered by quadriceps injuries as they posted 75 in 10 overs.
Captain Heather Knight (21 not out) and Nat Silver-Brunt (29 not out) smashed 35 off the last 14 balls to set a formidable target for the hosts.
Without captain Susie Bates, who was injured on the field, the goal was made even more difficult, with England attacking at regular intervals.
Dean scored four of her 26 points and Brooke Holiday led the way for the hosts with 25 points.
The victory gave England an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series, which concludes in Wellington on Friday.
