Majority in new poll views Project 2025 negatively

A majority of voters feel unfavorably about Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for becoming the next Republican president that Vice President Harris used to attack former President Trump, NBC News reported. public opinion poll Program released this week.

Earlier this month, the Harris-Waltz campaign launched a new ad targeting black voters, arguing that black voters would be at a disadvantage if Project 2025 were to go ahead under the second Trump administration.

“Project 2025 would take away protections for our voting rights and abolish the Department of Education. It would also require states to monitor women's pregnancies. It would ban abortions and cost millions more. It will strip people of their health insurance,” the ad says.

President Trump has sought to distance himself from the conservative blueprint, calling some of its proposals and plans “ridiculous” and even saying in multiple social media posts that he doesn't know who is behind the efforts. President Trump objected to the policy document, saying there were “some good ideas and some bad ideas.”

“As you and she both know, I have nothing to do with Project 2025. It's out there, but I haven't read it. I don't want to read it on purpose. I have no intention of reading it.” President Trump said.
