The fight for women to maintain space without infiltrating men is important, only beginning, but not the only person whose sacred space is threatened.
“We have had this discussion over the last few years about women-only spaces and men who seem to be invading quite a bit. Stu Burguiere “Stu Does America” tells Inez Stepman, senior legal analyst at the Independent Women’s Forum.
“We have been spurred primarily by one sex person who claims to be the opposite sex, and invaders of spaces of men, biological men and women, and of course, it is in some way very directly or obvious or urgent.

“Or we’re seeing women’s safety threatened in prisons because we have male sex offenders who claim that women’s safety is in women’s prisons,” she continues.
“Since the 1990s and early 2000s, there has been very few organized spaces where men gather slowly, one by one, knowing there are no women around.
And this has had a huge impact on their social life. One in four men under the age of 30 don’t think they have close friends.
Stepman believes this is not only a little space for men alone, but also a modern obsession with sexualizing male friendships.
In an article she wrote for a national review on the topic, which is called “Men also need single sex spaces,” Stepman uses Frodo and Sam as examples of “The Lord of the Rings.”
“There’s all these gay jokes. We’re not too used to the idea of close bonds and close friendships, so it seems like gay to people,” she explains, adding that the military is also permeating women.
But that doesn’t stop there. Once the boys learn survival skills and ultimately learn how to become men, Boy Scouts are now able to participate for girls.
“I think even Boy Scouts have lost a lot by making sure boys are not allowed to learn how to become boys and grow into men,” Stepman says.
“I think there’s a real time to rethink that cultural promotion,” she adds.
