Malik Nabors’ Recovery Progress
Giants wide receiver Malik Nabors has wrapped up his offseason recovery from a knee injury that ended his season during Week 4 of 2025.
On Monday, Nabors shared an upbeat post on his Instagram featuring a series of photos of him exercising and smiling.
He captioned it with, “Don’t diss me, I promise 🤚🏽❤️🔥.”
In addition to workout shots, there are glimpses of him enjoying social moments, paired with some uplifting quotes.
Nabors sustained a significant injury to his anterior cruciate ligament and a torn meniscus in his right knee during the second quarter of a close game against the Chargers last September.
He underwent surgery at the end of October.
Giants GM Joe Schoen provided an update on Nabors’ rehabilitation during a press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
“I’ve been in touch with him lately, and he’s doing really well,” Schoen mentioned, according to the Post’s Paul Schwartz.
“He’s feeling good, and the aim is to have him ready for training camp.”
However, Schoen also cautioned that situations can change quickly, expressing hopes that there will be no hiccups in Nabors’ recovery process.
“Don’t hold me to it. Things change. We’ve seen this before. Every patient responds differently. I’m just hoping for a smooth recovery,” he added.
“The plan is for him to be ready for training camp.”
Before his injury, Nabors had 18 receptions, totaling 271 yards and two touchdowns last season.
Kam Skatebo, a second-year running back, is also aiming to return from a season-ending ankle injury.
The Giants ended last season with a disappointing record of 4 wins and 13 losses, leading to the firing of head coach Brian Daboll in the middle of the season.
They later hired John Harbaugh after he parted ways with the Ravens, where he had a long tenure.
The Ravens recorded an 8-9 season, missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
