Iconic 70s pop group ABBA have called on former President Trump to stop playing their songs or footage of them at his campaign rallies. Guardian:

Republican presidential nominee Trump performed hits including “Money, Money, Money,” “The Winner Takes It All” and “Dancing Queen” at an event on Tuesday in St. Cloud, Minnesota, which has the largest Swedish population in the United States, Svenska Dagbladet newspaper reported.

In the campaign, ABBA The members' images were shown on a large video screen at the hockey stadium, along with messages urging supporters to donate.

The Swedish group's record company, Universal Music, said it had never been asked for permission by the Trump campaign to use ABBA's music or videos and that any footage from the event must be “taken down and removed immediately.”

A spokesman for the group said the Trump campaign had not been given any license or permission.

“Together with the band members of ABBA, we have become aware of publicly available video footage of ABBA's music and videos being used at Trump events and have requested that such use be immediately withdrawn and removed,” the company said. “Universal Music Publishing AB and Polar Music International AB have not received any request, and no permission or license has been granted to Mr. Trump.”

Bjorn Ulvaeus, one of the members of ABBA, also told Swedish news agency TT in a text message: “Our record company Universal will ensure it is removed.”

According to the Associated Press, various artists and their estates have urged Trump not to play their songs during the election.
