When zoo staff went to investigate the lynx's burrow, they discovered the lynx's carcass.
“Staff became suspicious and found a body inside the cave,” he added.
Officials said they believe the person may have jumped into a big cat's den.
“Our assessment so far is that this is a lunatic, because no sensible person would jump into a den,” Anwar said. “You can see that the den is secured. There are stairs behind the den. It's probably where they jumped down.”
