Video circulating Twitter on Monday appears to show a self-identified Democrat promising to vote for Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the wake of Hurricane Ian.
The unidentified man is seen in the video praising DeSantis for visiting Arcadia in the aftermath of the deadly storm.
“[DeSantis] is here in Arcadia, I don’t know about the rest of y’all but he’s here in Arcadia so y’all know who we voting for. I don’t know about the rest of you motherfuckers but I’m voting for DeSantis and I’m a Democrat. So y’all can call it whatever the fuck y’all want.” (RELATED: Terrifying Timelapse Of Hurricane Ian Shows Mass Devastation)

DeSantis spoke in Arcadia and North Port Sunday afternoon, taking a boat tour of the areas, according to WFLA. There are at least 840,000 power outages throughout the affected areas with 42,000 linemen responding to the scene, according to the report. Since the devastating storm more than 1.8 million have had power restored, WFLA reported.
There are several points of distribution for food and water throughout affected areas, including Arcadia. DeSantis also announced the state was sending generators to DeSoto County, where Arcadia is located, so that gas stations without generators can power up and provide service.
Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis announced Sunday that the Florida Disaster Fund had raised more than $21 million in 48 hours, according to Click Orlando.
Hurricane Ian made landfall in southeast Florida on Wednesday as a Category 4 storm, with storm surges and nearly Category 5-strength winds barreling though towns and cities.
