New Allegations Against Marcellus Wiley
Annemarie Wiley, the wife of former NFL player Marcellus Wiley, has brought forth serious allegations against him, including claims of rape and ongoing abuse.
This comes shortly after a reported incident in Florida led to Wiley’s arrest. According to Annemarie, there was an argument in their hotel room in Orlando that escalated. In a restraining order application in Los Angeles, she described a history of terror throughout their marriage.
In her filing, she stated, “Marcellus has subjected me to an ongoing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation, much of which our children have also witnessed.”
One of the earliest incidents Annemarie recounted dates back to 2012, where she claimed that Wiley “raped me while he was drunk.”
She noted that during that period, he had thrown a food tray at her, causing damage to the wall. In another distressing incident from around 2021, she alleged that he crawled into bed with her friends late at night and attempted to engage with them sexually.
In 2014, another violent encounter occurred where Wiley punched her during a dispute in a Las Vegas hotel room, resulting in visible injuries like a black eye.
Later, in 2019, while Annemarie was nearing her due date, she claimed that he threw a Coca-Cola bottle at her head. Even more recently, in August 2025, she asserted that Wiley broke his thumb in front of their children.
She alleges that he has subjected her to repeated physical and sexual abuse over the past year. “Marcellus subjects me to constant criticism, cruel and sarcastic comments, and threats,” she mentioned. “His verbal and emotional abuse is ongoing, and physical violence happens about once a month, if not more. I am afraid of him and worry for my safety and that of our children.”
Alongside her request for a restraining order, Annemarie has also filed for divorce from Wiley. A judge has yet to decide on the restraining order.
Wiley did not respond to requests for comment. He and Annemarie have been married for over a decade and share three children. Their marriage appeared to reach a breaking point after his arrest on July 4, sparked by a confrontation where he claimed she had pecked him on the cheek and made threats.
Following his release, Wiley took to X to declare his innocence. He expressed gratitude for the support he has received and firmly denied the allegations, stating, “I am confident that the truth will prevail.” He added that he felt a responsibility to protect his children and mentioned the complexity of handling the situation legally.
Reports suggest Annemarie’s application for the restraining order was first covered by TMZ.
