Margarita Nazarenko: Empowering Women Through Digital Connection
Margarita Nazarenko has become an online confidante for women globally. Her message emphasizes self-worth, setting high standards, and maintaining boundaries. Through her platform, she encourages women to shift from chasing after others to making intentional choices. In a recent discussion, Nazarenko explored her philosophy, her perspective on modern feminism, and what launched her mission to empower women through digital channels.
Originally from the UK, Nazarenko has spent the last 15 years in Australia. She’s married and a mother of two. Aside from her coaching, she hosts a podcast and authored a book titled “New Rules: The Ultimate Guide to Being a Girlfriend.”
While starting her career as an actress, she soon realized her true passion lay in forming deeper connections with people.
“I wanted to connect with others in a way that felt genuine,” she shared.
Her coaching journey followed as she became attracted to personal development and growth, inspired by figures like Tony Robbins. With dedication to self-improvement, Nazarenko earned her life coaching diploma and ventured into online coaching.
She quickly found success on TikTok, gaining a million followers within her first six months. Her content resonated with many young women, often addressing the dynamics of dating.
“Many of my early videos went viral, especially one about understanding how to navigate relationships. I targeted a headline that would grab attention because I remembered being in that mindset myself,” she explained. “But the real takeaway was about not focusing on chasing men.”
The couple of married mothers she collaborates with offer traditional insights, highlighting concerns about the current feminist movement and its influence on women’s relationships and intimacy.
“We’re told we should be independent, but deep down, many crave connection,” she observed. “It’s disheartening to think that a woman’s worth is reduced to her career achievements.”
Nazarenko argues that pursuing men excessively can diminish one’s value. “The more you chase him, the less appealing you become,” she pointed out.
She advocates for women to see themselves as valuable and to prioritize self-care over seeking approval from men.
“When women focus on their own identity and set strong boundaries, real empowerment follows,” she noted.
Through her platform, Nazarenko emphasizes embracing femininity. “Women offer qualities that men can’t find in their male counterparts,” she remarked, indicating it’s not about superficial traits but something deeper that truly attracts.
Interestingly, research shows that Generation Z is leaning towards long-term commitments, contrasting with a trend towards casual dating in previous decades. A study highlighted that this group views marriage more positively than younger adults did two decades ago, with many believing marriage benefits families.
She critiques hookup culture, pointing out that it can lead to feelings of inadequacy for women, even if that isn’t the intended message. “After these experiences, women often feel like they aren’t enough, which is a heavy emotional burden,” she explained.
Despite her critiques, Nazarenko’s philosophy centers around celebrating womanhood and empowering self-esteem. “I cherish being a woman—it’s a source of strength for me. Remember, your uniqueness is a treasure,” she concluded. Her advice is straightforward yet powerful: recognize your individuality as a gift; that’s the pathway to realizing your dreams of love.
Margarita Nazarenko is set to appear on August 4th at 6:50 a.m. on Fox & Friends.
