Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) accused Democrats of worshiping former President Donald Trump, a “convicted felon,” and made it clear that Jesus is her only savior, pointing out the utter hypocrisy of the radical left, explaining that they worshiped George Floyd, a convicted felon who rioted and burned down the country.
Greene made her remarks after Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before the House Select Subcommittee on COVID-19 on Monday. During the hearing, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) hailed Fauci as a hero and accused Republicans of treating the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases like a “convicted felon.”
“Well, Dr. Fauci, I want to join my colleagues in Florida in apologizing for the apparent attempt by some of my colleagues in the United States House of Representatives to smear your name in the mud. They are treating Dr. Fauci like a convicted felon,” Raskin said, bringing Trump into the conversation without mentioning him by name.

“In fact, you would wish they would treat you like a convicted criminal. They treat convicted criminals with love and respect. Some of them blindly worship convicted criminals,” Raskin said of Trump supporters.
While Greene defended comments she made during Fauci’s testimony during a heated exchange, she also blasted Raskin’s claim that Trump supporters worship “convicted criminals.”
“Everything I have said is correct. That is how the American people feel. That is what we know to be true…All the evidence proves it to be true. Jamie Raskin is accusing us of worshipping Trump, of worshipping a ‘convicted felon,'” she said, using quotation marks.
The reporter pointed out that Trump is a “convicted felon,” prompting Greene to respond.
“Yeah, so did George Floyd. And everybody, and you in the media, worshipped George Floyd. The Democrats worshipped George Floyd. There were riots over George Floyd, the whole country burned, and here Raskin is saying, we worship him.” [Trump],” she said.
“Sorry, let me correct myself, and this is really important, but I don’t worship. I worship God. God. And Jesus is my savior. I don’t worship President Trump and I’m really tired of the bullshit bullshit that I have to deal with constantly from the Democrats,” the congresswoman said, explaining that it was unfair that Democrats could attack her character “all day long.”
“The last person I was speaking to called me a madman, but that doesn’t mean I can say, ‘They’re attacking my character.’ No, they’re not. It’s non-fiction and shenanigans,” she said, telling a reporter that Democrats are continuing the shenanigans because “they don’t have any.”
“They are responsible for the lockdowns, the forced vaccinations, the forced confinement of children, the suicides and all the horrors this country has experienced during the COVID pandemic,” she said, repeating comments made during the hearing.
“Fauci should be in prison. He should be tried for genocide. He should be tried for crimes against humanity. That’s how I feel after this hearing. That’s how the American people feel,” she added.

During the hearing, Greene harshly criticized Fauci’s so-called approach to science and questioned several incidents that occurred under his watch, including cruel taxpayer-funded dog experiments and mandatory mask-wearing.
“You know what this committee should do? We should recommend that you be indicted. We should write a criminal complaint because you should be indicted for crimes against humanity,” she said at the end of the question. “You should be in jail, Dr. Fauci.”
