Is it headphones and turning the world off for Kelly Lipa?
Above I live with Kelly and Mark. On Friday, Mark Consuelos shed light on the potential harms of noise-cancelling headphones.
“People who used these noise-cancelling headphones to coordinate distractions in the workplace and public transport,” Consuelos began.
Lipa teased “or your snoring husband.”
Consuelos continued. “Or you should hear this warning from your doctor while exercising. Using this technique frequently to adjust your surroundings can be damaging to the brain.”
After focusing on the rise in young people with “listening issues,” Consuelos ribbed his wife and co-hosts, claiming that using headphones might mean “noise cancelling…spouse recognition.”
“No, it may be that when I talk to you, that's what's going on because you wear a lot of them,” he explained. “You wear them all the time, even when you're not snoring.”
Turning on the headphones, as Consuelos cited the example of Ripa arriving at home from the gym, Ripa stared at him with a slightly awful smirk.
“And when your hair is above your ears, I don't know you have your little airpod in your ears,” he shared. “So I have a full conversation with you. And I'm, amazing. And you don't say anything, you keep walking, you just walk and you go out. It's It happens sometimes. You need to be careful about that.”
Lipa's smirk broke into the smile when she admitted to Consuelos. “I heard everything you said. I just chose not to get involved.”
She then teased, “The earphones are red herring.”
“I'm going to leave these behind, and I think he's going to hear something,” she added.
Consuelos replied. It's like a proverb headache. It's like “I have a headache.” Or gas. ”
Lipa said, “I can't hear you. I'm on the phone.”
