Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has criticized President Donald Trump again on his BlueSky account, suggesting the arrest of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro was both “illegal” and a form of “interference from the Epstein file.”
On Sunday, Hamill expressed his thoughts, stating, “This new war is not just illegal, it’s reckless and corrupt; it’s part of a series of increasingly desperate distractions tied to the Epstein file.”
In general, Hamill appears to overlook Bill Clinton’s multiple connections to Epstein, not mentioning the controversial photographs of Clinton from Epstein’s private island, nor the lack of evidence linking Trump to any of the crimes Epstein was convicted for.
Additionally, Hamill seems unaware that Trump’s actions regarding Maduro were based on a warrant from President Joe Biden’s administration, making them legal. Moreover, instances of presidents initiating military actions without Congressional approval date back to Truman. For example, U.S. troops were sent to Korea by Truman, and Eisenhower authorized military involvement in Lebanon. Over the years, various presidents, including Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Obama, have made similar decisions, often without prior Congressional notice.
