On the left is the party that produced critical racial theory. It is a fundamentally flawed ideology that claims that constitutional framers are influenced by the racist norms of their time, and therefore all the systems they create are contaminated by those prejudices.

The truth is that many framers despise slavery, but they had to make a tough deal with the slave state to form America. Without that union there would not be a civil war and there would not be Abraham Lincoln to end slavery.

Levin explains that in the 1787 Constitutional Convention, representatives were unable to agree with the issue of slavery, leaving the issue to their children and grandchildren.
However, Framer knew that “a country born from a declaration of independence created equally for all” could not coexist with slavery.
Thomas Jefferson, who owned the slave, said, “I tried to set up a provision in the Declaration of Independence on Slavery, but it was withdrawn because they were in the middle of starting a revolutionary war for their own survival. [British]. ”
Ultimately, the fight for independence from Britain and national unity took priority over the issue of slavery until Abraham Lincoln was elected president and the civil war thankfully ended it.
“[Abraham Lincoln] Loved the Constitution of the United States, he loved the Declaration, and he repeatedly quoted them as justifications to fight the Declaration [Civil] We’ll abolish war and slavery until the end,” Levin says.
But if our founding document was essentially the superiority of slavery and pro-white, he would not have done it, as the left suggests.
