Mark Robinson’s Email Linked to Ashley Madison Account

The scandal surrounding North Carolina gubernatorial candidate and Lt. Governor Mark Robinson (R-NC) is deepening after Politico reports that Robinson's email address has been linked to an account registered with the adult infidelity site Ashley Madison.

Politico published the report about an hour after CNN's explosive report implicating Robinson in an account that posted racist and sexually explicit comments on the pornography website Nude Africa. Tie up Robinson signed up for an Ashley Madison account.

“A Robinson adviser, who spoke freely on the condition of anonymity, confirmed to Politico that the email address in question belongs to Robinson,” the outlet reported.

While the Ashley Madison incident is scandalous in its own right, it is secondary to Robinson's alleged behavior on Nude Africa, where CNN reports that Robinson was active under the username “minisoldr.”

Between 2008 and 2012, “minisoldr” posted numerous sexually charged comments on the website's message boards, including one about his love of transgender porn and another about spying on women in the shower as a teenager.

“I love watching trans on girl porn! So hot! Leave the guy in and let the guy out!,” minisoldr once wrote. “And yes, I'm a 'pervert' too!”

According to a CNN report, the “mini-solder” fondly recalled seeing women showering at a public gym when he was 14 years old.

“I came to a dead end where there were two big vent covers! Which happened to overlook the showers! I sat there for like an hour watching some girls come and shower,” the user wrote on Nude Africa, adding that he tried again the next day but was unsuccessful.

Additionally, some of the messages were racist and anti-Semitic in nature. Through the account, Robinson is said to have supported Adolf Hitler and promoted him as a “black Nazi.” He has also reportedly expressed a desire to reinstate slavery and to buy slaves.

Robinson was known to use the username “minisoldr” on a number of non-obscene personal accounts on Twitter, Disqus, Pinterest, YouTube and BlackPlanet, according to CNN, which confirmed that the email address registered to Nude Africa's “minisoldr” is the same as the email address registered to Robinson's Disqus account.

The looming report means big problems for Robinson, who is reportedly under pressure from Republicans to withdraw his name from the ballot before Thursday's deadline.
