Brown appeared to confirm the news on his X account, writing, “Blessings beyond measure…Chiefs Kingdom, let’s rock.”

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes quoted Brown’s X post with three cringing emojis.

Brown also shared an edited photo of himself in a Chiefs uniform and a screenshot of text messages he apparently exchanged with head coach Andy Reid on his Instagram account.

“Hollywood, please think red today, KC Red and Diamond!!!” a message purported to be from Reid read.

“Yes, I love the sound of that,” Brown wrote, using heart and ring emojis. “Think of the brown lights, cameras, and action of Hollywood.”

He added another edited image to his Instagram photo dump of the famous Hollywood sign, adding “KC” to the end.

The 26-year-old was one of the most talented wideouts in the game when healthy.

Brown, who was selected by the Ravens with the 25th pick out of Oklahoma State in the 2019 NFL Draft, had his first 1,000-yard season with 91 catches and six touchdowns for Baltimore in 2021.
