Marsha Blackburn Calls for Senate Trial Against Mayorkas

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is calling for a full Senate trial of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, which she emphasized during her appearance on the show. Breitbart News Saturday.

Blackburn said Americans are “extremely disappointed” in a Republican victory in the 2024 presidential election because “we know that many of our country’s problems are caused by wide open borders.” I look forward to it.”

“I’m very hopeful that we’ll win this thing because I think the American people love freedom. They love their country. And they’re going to sit back and do nothing.” “I’m not going to take away the freedom of Democrats,” she said, referring directly to Mayorkas’ impeachment trial.

“Look at what we’re facing now with Mayorkas. Chuck Schumer has filed articles of impeachment and has said he’s not going to proceed with a trial. And of course what you’re getting is Donald Trump. It goes back to the days of Trump, when Chuck Schumer was saying we have to fulfill our constitutional obligation. We have to take this trial, and it’s our constitutional obligation. It’s laid out. …Raise up the Constitution. Look at Article 1, Section 2, which says what the House must do in an impeachment. And Section 3 says what the Senate must do. That’s Articles 1, 2, and 3. And Americans know that many of this country’s problems are caused by its wide open borders. ,” Blackburn said, explaining that lawmakers should “impeach Mayorkas.”

“Hundreds of thousands of Americans are being negatively impacted by this open border. Drugs and fentanyl, fentanyl deaths, families torn apart, human trafficking, sex trafficking, personal harm. Things like crime in the communities where they live. All of that is happening,” the Tennessee senator said.

“And one of the things we’ve been hearing a lot lately is that people who come into the country on parole and get work permits are taking jobs away from hard-working Americans.” It becomes more difficult for people to find work,” she went on to clarify the issue.

Asked if he thought the case should be tried in the U.S. Senate, as it was for President Trump, Blackburn said: “Absolutely.”

“We are constitutionally required to: [that]”And Matt, the American people need to know what happened,” she said, adding that the American people need to know that Biden will take “94 executive orders in the first 100 days of the Joe Biden administration to open borders.” He explained that he needed to know how the decision was made. It also makes it easier for immigrants to enter the country illegally.

“They have weakened immigration laws and taken 94 different measures. We also need to know where the money is coming from to pay the living expenses of all these people. How are they going to do these things? Is it funding everything? People want to know, and I’ve heard how much money goes into putting an individual on a plane across the country to cross the border. “Yes,” she said, pointing to parole programs that fly parolees from various countries to the United States. state.

“And we get questions like this every day. So let’s put all of that out there. Let’s put all of that information out there so the American people can look and find out exactly how this was done and find out how this was done.” Let’s make sure we can hold people accountable for what happens with open borders,” Blackburn added.
