Marshall football player gets into scuffle with ballboy in odd scene

Marshall defensive back Josh Moten and a ball boy were among those before uniformed police officers intervened during the final minutes of the Thundering Herd's 42-35 win over Old Dominion on Saturday night. Infiltrated.

Further footage shows the ball boy appearing to wrestle over the ball with a second Marshall football player and Moten throwing the ball boy to the ground before being grabbed by a third Marshall football player. It was being shown.

Several uniformed police officers could then be seen intervening between the ball boys in an attempt to calm the situation.

“I would like to apologize for what happened after yesterday's game,” he wrote. “That's not what I mean. It was an intense game, and at that moment I was overwhelmed with emotion. I feel bad for ODU and my team for taking attention away from a great game.”

This is the second time in recent weeks that an interaction between a ball boy and a player has come to the fore.
