Martha MacCallum Laughs Heartily at Cory Booker’s Outburst in the Senate

Martha McCallum Critiques Senator Cory Booker

On Wednesday, Fox News host Martha McCallum expressed her frustration regarding Democrat Senator Cory Booker’s recent speech in New Jersey, particularly criticizing how he has approached President Donald Trump.

During the speech, which took place on Tuesday, Booker was joined by Senators Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota, Catherine Cortez Masto from Nevada, and Republican Chuck Grassley, who advocates for police funding. McCallum reacted on-air after co-host Harris Faulkner sought her thoughts on the matter.

“That’s outrageous,” she stated, pointing to Klobuchar’s comment about schedule conflicts. “I was in conflict,” Klobuchar said, which left McCallum bewildered.

“Wait, aren’t you a senator? Isn’t that your job, to show up for this vote?” she continued. “They seem to respect each other, but honestly, they lack clarity on their roles and responsibilities. Cory Booker was a notable young mayor in Newark, and he genuinely aimed to reduce crime there.”

Booker had previously made headlines by speaking for over 25 hours about Trump’s policies back in May, and he recently signed a book deal. He famously referred to himself as “Spartacus” during a 2018 Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

McCallum remarked, “From Spartacus to this performance, it seems like he really enjoys the spotlight.”
