Martha Stewart’s Views on Dating and Single Life
Martha Stewart, at 84, has quite the perspective on what she finds appealing in a partner.
In a recent interview, she mentioned that several factors contribute to a man’s attractiveness, like “nice teeth and a nice smile.”
“I don’t care if you’re good-looking or bald,” she noted. “As long as your head is in the right shape, you’ll be fine.”
She also appreciated qualities like intelligence and humor in men.
With a hint of humor, she remarked about wealth, stating, “The rich are helping me. It would be even better if I had money myself. I’d love to have a plane and a yacht.”
Her comments come just weeks after she expressed confidence in her own qualities at an event, describing herself as “a very good catch.”
“I know how to cook, clean, and manage a household—those are valuable skills,” she reflected.
Stewart shared that she recently revamped her living space, emphasizing, “We got a new rug and moved the furniture. It’s time for a deep clean!”
When it comes to cleaning, she quipped, “I only scrub toilets if they’re dirty. My toilet is not dirty!”
Though she remains single at this stage of her life, she explained it’s largely due to a lack of time. “I was married to Andrew Stewart from 1961 to 1990 and have a daughter, Alexis,” she mentioned, acknowledging past infidelities.
Stewart has also had high-profile relationships, including a lengthy romance with billionaire Charles Simonyi and a brief relationship with Anthony Hopkins, among others.
Currently reveling in her independence, she makes an effort to look good, even when hitting the gym.
“I never go to the gym without showering,” she stated in a podcast earlier this year. “I’m not leaving the second floor of my house without taking a shower.”
Even while working out, she maintains a polished look, wearing SPF foundation, lip gloss, and blush. “I look good because there are men at the gym and I want to put my best foot forward,” she added.
