Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has denounced Democrats for supporting radical transgender ideology and asking for ideals that would give up on continuing their support.
On Thursday, Navratilova relied on her X account and refused to adhere to the Title IX rules for men identifying women and women to play in sports, after being tired of the lack of support for the left woman.
“What is Dem willing to give up on men who identify as trans?” she wrote. “Abortion… the Constitution… the rule of law… that's just for the first time…”
Navratilova supports Trump's position on trans athletes, but nothing else. Apart from the trance problem, Navratilova is a rather radical leftist. So her position certainly isn't an example of her support for Trump.
Still, Navratilova was a solid opponent of the sport's trans athletes.
After Trump signed an executive order banning trans-athletes in sports, Navratilova denounced Democrats for refusing to support the Title IX rules.
“I hate the Democrats have completely failed women and girls on this very clear issue that women's sports are just for women,” she wrote.
She also urged Democrats to “step up” and vote in favor of women.
“Shame for women, girls and Democrats who don't really care about their safety and fairness,” Navratilova said in January.
In another post, Navratilova denounced Democrats for only two members willing to stand up for women.
“You need to step up here. I agree, but I know a lot of people who are afraid to talk about for reelection. Do the right thing. Grow your spine.”
