Marvin Peavy Covers His House With Huge Sign as a Grand Tribute to Charlie Kirk

The owner of a house in Florida’s Panhandle, known for displaying signs supporting former President Donald Trump, has now shifted his focus to honoring Charlie Kirk with a striking tribute.

Marvin Peavy, who owns four properties in Walton County, discussed his decision to swap out his typical Trump-themed signs for ones dedicated to Kirk. He mentioned this during a conversation with local media.

Peavy believes that Kirk, as a founder of Turning Point USA, has made a significant impact on college campuses across the United States. “He visited our university and encouraged people to speak the truth,” Peavy shared.

He also expressed his view that Kirk could be a future Republican president, saying, “They’re trying to silence him now.”

Peavy noted that he has received strong support from both locals and visitors passing by his house. “I have people honking their horns and saying, ‘We love it,’” he reported, adding that his house, which gained fame on social media, has caught the interest of notable figures like Herschel Walker, Benny Johnson, and Clay Travis.

After facing complaints regarding his pro-Trump flag, local law enforcement informed Peavy that his signs were in violation of county regulations. Initially, when he opted not to remove them, he was fined $50 a day, resulting in penalties that exceeded $60,000. He argued that the ordinance infringed upon his rights, claiming it represented government overreach. Ultimately, the county agreed to settle the dispute and pay him $42,000 in legal fees.

Peavy reflected on his initial fears about putting up the signs, admitting he was “terrified” and thought it might lead to legal trouble. Although the county didn’t object to his signs at first, things changed when he refused to take them down after they requested it.

Interestingly, the settlement brought Peavy more publicity, even catching the attention of Trump, who called him personally. “Donald thanked me for displaying his signs, and we spoke for about 20 minutes,” Peavy recalled.

Growing up, Peavy faced financial challenges but has found his place in the real estate market, now owning a beachside home. He enjoys making new signs that commemorate significant moments involving Trump over the last few years. “It seems like we always hit the right event. When Trump was shot, we put up a ‘bulletproof’ sign. For Father’s Day, we did something special, and during the election, I had something ready even before it ended,” he explained.

A memorial for Charlie Kirk took place recently at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, where a large crowd gathered. Peavy concluded by saying, “Charlie has done a lot for many people, and it’s great to see his impact recognized.”
