Karma effect is in full swing!
A Maryland man won $500,000 in the Pick 5 Lottery last month after he had a bad time on the road and the lucky winner fooled the license plate of a disgruntled driver.
A Glen Burnie man was cut off on the freeway while returning home from out of town in late December, resulting in a “rude” driver's license number being recorded in his mind. According to Maryland Lottery officials.
The upset technician turned his anger into opportunity later that day when he visited Doc's F&B Liquors in Glen Burnie and matched the numbers on 10 identical Pick 5 tickets priced at $1 each.
“I think if you’re going to play, you should play big,” the unidentified winner told lottery officials.
The Anne Arundel County residents then went home and fell asleep, officials said, adding that they didn't realize they had won $50,000 on each ticket until the next morning.

“I used the lottery app on my phone to scan the ticket,” said the cheerful winner, who learned that karma had changed his path and broke the news to his mother.
The lottery winners said they intended to use some of the funds to pay bills and invest the rest, officials said.
Retailers also receive a $5,000 bonus for selling 10 lucky tickets.
