Police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a private snow plow driver on duty in Ellicott City, Maryland, early Wednesday morning.

Howard County police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, which investigators believe was not random.

Alex Ramirez Garcia, 37, was shot while clearing snow from the parking lot of a Montessori school, police said.
